Benefit F.Y.Eye!
I love using the MAC paint pots as a base and sometimes as a primer, but only when I know that it's going to be a light day and my makeup won't have to work. However, on days that I go in to work as a Nursery manager, outside sweating all day....I HAVE to use a real primer. My skin is very oily and without a primer my eye shadow will consistently crease no matter how good of quality the shadows are. Eye primers absorb any oil on the eyelids and helps control oil so that eyeshadow doesn't crease and lose it's intensity. I've tried TwoFaced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) and they were both ok....but F.Y.Eye works best for me. It matches my skin tone and goes on incredibly light weight so it doesn't feel like I have layers of makeup on my eyelids. There's absolutely no shimmer or sheen like UDPP in Sin so F.Y.Eye won't change the way any eyeshadows are supposed to look. Each person will be different and most people RAVE about UDPP and swear by it and a few others say the same about TwoFaced.
The bad news is....Benefit discontinued this eye primer. The good news is....they replaced it with a similar product called Stay, Don't stray that is supposed to be the same formula. The even better news is the packaging is a pump vs. the pot which makes it easier to use if you have fingernails!!!!! Stay, Don't Stray retails for $24 at sephora....
